TESTING & COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

As a Testing & Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of various engineering systems. You will be responsible for testing, commissioning, and validating systems and equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop commissioning plans, forms, and outage strategies.
• Install, commission, test, and maintain transmission, substation, and distribution equipment.
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of substation testing and commissioning experience
• Experience in the power utility field
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Control System Design, Mechanical & Electrical systems, electrical apparatus, electrical equipment and substation voltage levels up to 345kV
• General knowledge of transmission lines, switchyards, substations and associated equipment and materials
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
