The Testing & Veteran Services Coordinator plays a dual role in supporting both the university's
Testing Center operations and veteran student recruitment and engagement. This position reports to the Director of Veterans and Testing Services.
As a Testing Center Proctor, the coordinator is responsible for administering in-person and
online exams at the Chicago (Loop) and Schaumburg campuses, ensuring compliance with
testing policies and maintaining a secure and professional testing environment. The proctor must
communicate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and community members regarding
Testing Center policies. Additional responsibilities include assisting with online registrations
using RegisterBlast and other approved platforms, performing reception duties, training
temporary workers, and potentially supervising student employees.
As a Veterans Support Specialist, the coordinator is responsible for identifying, contacting, and
engaging potential veteran students through outreach strategies tailored to military experiences
and benefits. This role involves providing information about campus support services designed
for veterans, assisting with the transition into academic life, and fostering a sense of community
among veteran students. The coordinator will also host campus events and workshops catered
toward veteran students, facilitate peer mentoring programs, and serve as a liaison between
veteran students and university resources.

The salary range for this position is $48,000-$52,000
