The Testing Associate supports the operations of the Testing Center by providing high quality customer service to students, staff, faculty, and members of the community who utilize the Testing Center.
Proctor and maintain order in Testing Center by upholding academic integrity/test security during shift while also being responsible for sensitive and confidential information that impacts student grades/transcripts.
Understand the differences between the variety of tests given along with the procedures/policies and the relationship of each test to those procedures.
Interpret directions regarding test protocols.
Assist students and community members with test scheduling.
Positively identify student by picture ID.
Provide proctoring services, as needed, to students at off-campus locations, including Borra Center.
Assist in training staff in procedures and protocols for all tests offered in the Testing Center.
Maintain records, process scores, and produce reports as needed.
Input student test scores into Banner.
Schedule and run various reports on the utilization of the testing center.
Serve as an active member of Shared Governance and institutional meetings as appropriate.
Performs duties as required and assigned.
Required:
Able to operate various office technologies including PC workstations, copy machines, printers, and fax machines.
Knowledge of software systems including Microsoft Office Suite 2016 and 365, and experience working with e-mail and calendar software.
Currently have, or work with the College to obtain, certification as a Testing Proctor for NTN, Accuplacer, and Pearson VUE.
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Available to work flexible hours.
