About this Position
The Life Ops Quality Assurance Analyst functions as a liaison between the business users and programmers to ensure that projects deliver outlined objectives and resolve system issues. The candidate creates user acceptance criteria, designs/executes test plans and analyzes results. The Life Ops QA Analyst formulates, creates and prepares required presentations, and compiles necessary documentation to support positions on issues found because of testing.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Create & execute user acceptance criteria as it relates to Agile User Stories
Create & execute test plans and analyze test results
Coordinate, manage and execute projects and other tasks for Life Operations
Research and resolve departmental system issues and concerns
Develop and maintain statistical reports as needed on a daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis for all levels of management
Work with Product Owner and Business Analyst to devise and recommend solutions and options for system design and enhancements
Broad knowledge of the systems and processes of the departments and business functions they support
Able to work independently with more limited direction from management.
Handle multiple priorities simultaneously
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
3-5 years QA, BA or Project Management Experience preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Business, MIS, or related field preferred, not required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Teams, Visio, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of QMF or SQL and database structures
Agile & Version One experience a plus
Test Script writing and use of Test Rail experience a plus
Knowledge of application design and software development methodologies
Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
Ability to communicate within and across diverse project teams
Ability to work with extreme time sensitivity and handle multiple and changing priorities simultaneously
Strong analytical aptitude
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently while understanding when to seek advice
