About this Position

The Life Ops Quality Assurance Analyst functions as a liaison between the business users and programmers to ensure that projects deliver outlined objectives and resolve system issues. The candidate creates user acceptance criteria, designs/executes test plans and analyzes results. The Life Ops QA Analyst formulates, creates and prepares required presentations, and compiles necessary documentation to support positions on issues found because of testing.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Create & execute user acceptance criteria as it relates to Agile User Stories

  • Create & execute test plans and analyze test results

  • Coordinate, manage and execute projects and other tasks for Life Operations

  • Research and resolve departmental system issues and concerns

  • Develop and maintain statistical reports as needed on a daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis for all levels of management

  • Work with Product Owner and Business Analyst to devise and recommend solutions and options for system design and enhancements

  • Broad knowledge of the systems and processes of the departments and business functions they support

  • Able to work independently with more limited direction from management.

  • Handle multiple priorities simultaneously

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years QA, BA or Project Management Experience preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, MIS, or related field preferred, not required

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Teams, Visio, and PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of QMF or SQL and database structures

  • Agile & Version One experience a plus

  • Test Script writing and use of Test Rail experience a plus

  • Knowledge of application design and software development methodologies

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills

  • Ability to communicate within and across diverse project teams

  • Ability to work with extreme time sensitivity and handle multiple and changing priorities simultaneously

  • Strong analytical aptitude

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently while understanding when to seek advice

We recruit top talent and are currently seeking a full-time Entry Level Construction Materials Testing / Engineering Technician to join our team in our Duluth or Kennesaw, Georgia location. The individual will be responsible for the following: * Review of civil, architectural, and structural plans and specifications in preparation of field observations on construction sites; * Documentation of field activities, observations, and testing results on construction projects, and their conformance with (or deviation from) project plans and specifications; * Field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and masonry mortar/grout for compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT, and/or project specifications; * Daily use of Metafield, and/or other field and laboratory information management systems, for recording of testing results; * Communication of field and laboratory testing results with Construction Services and Geotechnical Project Management staff, general contractors, and clients; * Calibration of field and laboratory equipment to industry codes and standards. Qualifications: * High school diploma/GED required; * 0-2 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials preferred; * ACI, ICC, or DOT (or equivalent) certifications preferred, but not required; * Effective communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing), using the English language, required; * Ability to routinely lift 40 to 50 lbs. (field/laboratory samples and equipment), required; * Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (Company will provide Personal Protective Equipment and inclement weather gear, as appropriate); * Ability to work and maneuver equipment (such as a loaded wheelbarrow) on uneven ground and around active construction sites; * Willingness to travel out-of-town (typically overnight) for short duration assignments. This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.
