At Safran Electrical & Power, our vision is smarter electrical solutions for a better flight. In the role of Production Engineering Technician, you will help sustain the production floor operations for assembly of various aerospace components.

This position contributes to our vision by:
1.Perform repetitive testing and inspection operations with minimum instruction.
2.Set up and operate equipment following general instructions.
3.Perform repetitive assembly and hand operations. Operate and adjust equipment following general instructions. Make simple set-ups and perform routine, preventative maintenance.
4.Must meet the productivity standards as called out on the routings.
5.Supply accurate information on labor reporting, material, scrap and process. Detect and report to proper supervision unusual or defective conditions.
6.Able to perform in process inspection operations and complete all associated paperwork.
7.Able to analyze warranty returns and capable of proposing corrective actions.
8.Participate in setting monthly goals based on knowledge of product mix and time standards. This position will work closely with Team Leader and Supervisor to assure accuracy of shipment forecast.
9.Capable of recording and organizing performance data required within the department.
10. Must be able to lead and train operators in all routine department operations.
11. Performs all work in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
12. 8D problem solving.
13. Full understanding of Metrology and tools used.
14. Full capability to process and create NCM reports.
15. Work from and interpret schematics; must have knowledge of bill of material and routing/work orders.
16. Report documentation discrepancies/inconsistencies to the manufacturing engineers and assist them in writing new test procedures and other processes as assigned.
17. Comply with plant safety rules. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
18. Regular, predictable attendance is required.

High School Diploma or GED.
1 year of Electro/Mechanical experience.
Ability to carry out written or oral instructions.
High proficiency in reading drawings / blue prints.
Understanding tolerance and being able to use micrometer and calipers.
