Position Description:

CGI Federal is looking for a Quality Analyst/Tester for one of our exciting Health IT projects. The QA/Tester is responsible for reviewing business and system requirements, writing test cases, developing test data and performing test execution.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze business requirements, system requirements and technical specifications.

  • Develop test scenarios, document test cases, create test data/files, maintain requirements traceability matrix, compile test summary documentation and provide work estimation for test preparation and execution.

  • Maintain and oversee independent execution of testing activities against test plans and test schedules

  • Conduct and participate in SDLC Peer Reviews.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of test results.

  • Effectively communicate with management and lead on testing status and critical testing issues.

  • Participate in problem tracking management to bring defects to resolution.

  • Ensure products, applications, documents and systems are in compliance with established quality standards.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related IT experience

  • Minimum 3 years of system testing experience

  • Knowledge of various software testing methods (i.e. Black Box, White Box, etc.)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • SQL knowledge

  • Ability to work independently and as a cooperative member of the Test Team on testing activities.

  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, recommends improvement to support quality and monitors independent work to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Ability to be flexible to changing demands and priorities.

  • Ability to clearly and thoroughly document application errors for developer comprehension

VIEW JOBS 10/18/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-16T00:00 Description Job Description: The Government Health and Safety Group of Leidos is seeking a functional tester in Baltimore, MD to support the FDA SIRCE contract. * The SIRCE program supports the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) critical work to safeguard the foods, drugs, devices, biologics, and veterinary products that the Agency regulates. The program is split into two investments – Systems for Inspections, Recalls, Compliance Enforcement (SIRCE) and Imports. Within the SIRCE investment, the Domestics Team is responsible for delivering application support for Domestic Applications that support multiple FDA operations. Key Responsibilities: * Estimating test case writing and execution effort and keeping track of own and team progress. * Designing Load and performance tests from requirements, design documents and specifications. * Test case authoring and holding test case reviews with stakeholders and team members for the performance and load tests. * Execution of performance, load and smoke tests for both web applications and database. * Reporting defects, tracking, validating and closing. * Recording test results and reporting them. * Support application troubleshooting efforts * Identifying regression test candidates for automation, planning automation activities across the team and automating test cases. * Participation in daily scrum meetings, agile ceremonies and weekly test team meetings. * Participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection. * Install, maintain, or use software testing programs. * Supporting our metrics program by keeping track and gather metrics on all activities. * Support UAT activities. * Support end of sprint demos, user acceptance testing, and solicit feedback from FDA on test artifacts and processes. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
