About this role:

iRhythm is currently seeking a Test Technician in our Cypress, California office. Our work environment is fast-paced, with a collaborative atmosphere. Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Operate automated testers with preprogrammed testing routines for operational verification.

  • Troubleshoot and repair PCBAs and test fixtures

  • Performing a variety of tasks to support production and manufacturing

  • Develops solutions to routine technical problems

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance over electromechanical equipment

  • Provide recommendations for problem resolution

  • Support MFG on multiple projects based on day to day demand.

  • Data management and analysis

  • Communicating with multiple teams to ensure smooth functionality within the manufacturing facility

About you:

  • Electronics training equivalent to two years technical trade school, AA in electronics, or military technical school.

  • 3-5 years of directly related work experience.

  • Practical understanding of the basic laws of electricity: Ohm's Law, etc.

  • Computer skills to accessing data in database system, test report generation and for controlling automatic test equipment

  • Familiar with ESD standards for electronic devices

  • Knowledgeable of electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, temperature and humidity chambers, etc.

  • Familiar with vision inspection equipment (microscope) and measurement instruments (calipers, etc.)

  • Knowledge and familiarity with IPC610 and ICP600 standard

  • Knowledge and familiarity with IPC7711/21 rework standard (certification is a plus)

  • Diligent and detail oriented

  • Previous experience on regulated industry is a plus (medical or aerospace)
