About this role:
iRhythm is currently seeking a Test Technician in our Cypress, California office. Our work environment is fast-paced, with a collaborative atmosphere. Specific job responsibilities include:
Operate automated testers with preprogrammed testing routines for operational verification.
Troubleshoot and repair PCBAs and test fixtures
Performing a variety of tasks to support production and manufacturing
Develops solutions to routine technical problems
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance over electromechanical equipment
Provide recommendations for problem resolution
Support MFG on multiple projects based on day to day demand.
Data management and analysis
Communicating with multiple teams to ensure smooth functionality within the manufacturing facility
Electronics training equivalent to two years technical trade school, AA in electronics, or military technical school.
3-5 years of directly related work experience.
Practical understanding of the basic laws of electricity: Ohm's Law, etc.
Computer skills to accessing data in database system, test report generation and for controlling automatic test equipment
Familiar with ESD standards for electronic devices
Knowledgeable of electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, temperature and humidity chambers, etc.
Familiar with vision inspection equipment (microscope) and measurement instruments (calipers, etc.)
Knowledge and familiarity with IPC610 and ICP600 standard
Knowledge and familiarity with IPC7711/21 rework standard (certification is a plus)
Diligent and detail oriented
Previous experience on regulated industry is a plus (medical or aerospace)
