Job Description:

Lockheed Martin is experiencing some substantial growth at our campus in Chelmsford, MA. We are seeking a RF Test Technician to join our team. In this exciting role the RF Tester will have the opportunity to performs tests, tune and troubleshoot of mid-range to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies. Duties also include using testing units over temperature, during vibration and mechanical shock as well as putting units into burn-in ovens; testing is performed using state of the art standard, specialized, manual and automated test equipment to specifications outlined in specific module performance specifications and acceptance test procedures. Use of the computer is required to retrieve test procedures, assembly drawings and schematics as well as to input test yield data.

Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units. Uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials. May perform modifications, rework and quality testing. Collaborate with RF Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot product to specifications.

Basic Qualifications

Previous experience in the test, tune, and troubleshoot of a variety complex RF Microwave Hybrid assemblies
Ability to work under a microscope as required to test, tune and troubleshoot RF microwave hybrid assemblies and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination
Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities;
Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and must have at least an Interim Secret Security clearance prior to start therefore candidates must be a US citizen.

VIEW JOBS Description:This individual could work as a support to design engineering or Automated Test Engineering. Responsible for gathering all the required technical data needed to assemble cables and test stands. The candidate will be expected to know what kinds of probing questions to ask before taking the lead on a task, and have the ability to design and execute test procedures, collect and report test data. Must be able to troubleshoot issues, must also be able to communicate issues effectively with others in order to come to a collaborative solution. Basic Qualifications: Ability to troubleshoot complex RF and digital circuits; Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers; Fine Pitch hand-solder skills; Computer skills such as MSWord, Excel; Knowledge of electrical component parameters and packaging; Schematic Capture, and reading. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Safe handling of ESD sensitive devices. Ability to assemble and test, test stand racks. Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Candidate must have at least an interim secret clearance prior to start. Desired Skills: Strong Organizational skills. Strong Interpersonal skills are required to co-ordinate with functional areas across the entire organization. Strong Verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with Production Operations, Test Engineers, and leadership. Familiarization with Preventative Maintenance planning and procedures. Familiarization with test equipment calibration. Must have the ability to work in a teaming environment as well as independently. Candidate must be proactive and goal oriented.
