Test Technician

Overview:

We are seeking an Electronics Technician to help with the test and evaluation of complex electronics for a instrumental sonar/acoustic system in our US Fleet of Submarines called ARCI. The ARCI program is a way for the Navy to capitalize on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) rugged server and embedded computing technology to make quick periodic upgrades of submarine sonar signal processing capability. This technology will be integrated in ships for the US Navy, Royal Australian Navy, British Navy, Canadian Navy, and several US allies.

Description:

• Develop an Execute Test Procedures using past experience using electronic test bench equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators).

• Review design documentation for completeness and accuracy to ensure testing methodologies are acceptable for first of kind unit testing.

• Applying knowledge of linear (DC) and non-linear (AC) current to complete test steps.

• Running procedure and identifying steps to correction and updating of complex electronics.

• Coordinate and collaborate with Team to ensure successful troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree.

• 3+ Years as an Electronic Test Technician.

• Experience using Test Bench Tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators).

• Experience testing high frequency electronics and coming to a conclusion on correction and updates.

• *Must be eligible for a DoD clearance. (If you already have an active clearance, you're bumped up the list)

Additional Information:

• This will be for a multi year contract (3+ years).

• Pay Rate: $35-$45/hr based on experience.

• Benefits offered.

• 1st shift, Monday-Friday.

• If you do not have an active clearance, you will have the opportunity to gain a clearance if hired for this opportunity.
