Your Function:

As the Test Support Specialist, you will manage and ensure the execution of IT testing activities, according to valid test procedures, methods and defined regulations, within agreed time plans and quality standards and in close consultation with the development teams and projects, to contribute to the development and delivery of adequate functioning IT systems.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Represent the testing function starting from the inception of project. Establish connection to the project from a testing perspective and ensure the quality aspects of requirements and design are met as seen from business user perspective.

  • Develop and define master test plan, test scenarios and test scripts/data needs from requirements and design documents for assigned software/hardware (components) releases.

  • Align with the business counter parts for validation and approvals for the same and establish the test schedule for UAT.

  • Align with the Project managers, Dev & Design teams to ensure the system is ready for testing and meets the entrance criteria needs. Ensure all test related information is loaded into test tracking tool used by DLL and ready to execute.

  • Execute tests to ensure the stability of the test environment and application changes.

  • Coordinate, execute and/or ensure the execution of test scenarios in line with defined procedures, processes and plans, in order to deliver quality products.

  • Analyze, register and file results of testing and report these results to the stakeholders providing different levels of information that includes the summary of the impact of issues, risks, escalation on delays etc.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the Testing methodology overall (including controls) as well as opportunities on assigned projects for efficiencies, quality of the delivery in conjunction with standardization

  • Identify opportunities where Automation can be applied and lead and guide the exploration of the same.

Your Profile:

ESSENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/ equivalent

  • 4+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience working in leasing, banking or financial services preferred

  • Experience working in international, multi-cultural environment is preferred.

  • Excellent written and communications skills with a highlight on proven influencing capabilities

  • Good understanding of the IT processes in Software development lifecycle and testing

  • Automation/UFT experience preferred.

  • Experience working in an Agile methodology of software development

  • Experience working in Mobile testing methodology is good to have

  • Testing related certifications like ISTQB is preferred
