In the role of Test Speciliasit, you will aid in the design, procurement, and fabrication of test fixtures, test software and test equipment. This individual will be responsible to create and implement test plans, test procedures, test reports, and author documentation that can be taken by a technician to operate specific test equipment. This individual will be asked to develop test strategy based on military standards and specific customer requirements. This individual will be asked to oversee and execute engineering verification testing and qualification testing of aerospace product. The position requires the skill to be able to certify test setups and make recommendations to technicians on how tests should be executed.
Safran offers state of the art circuit breakers, relays and switches for the aerospace industry. One the key suppliers for commerical airlines and government contacts.
This position contributes to our vision by:
Assist in estimating resources required to complete projects including labor, materials, necessary skills and duration. Provide testability input to new product designs and guidance in the completion of qualification programs to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
Develop test plans, write acceptance and qualification test procedures, conduct tests and generate test reports.
Design and document both manual and automated test equipment to support engineering development.
Participate on multi-discipline concurrent development and corrective action teams.
Provide design-for-testability feedback to design engineering during product development.
Review and certify test setups prior to test execution.
Create general test procedures to instruct technicians on how to perform common testing.
Technical writing and presentations.
Regular, predictable attendance is required.
Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.

Education and/or Experience:
Outstanding skills in the Microsoft Office suite include Project.
Strong Knowledge of Electrical Theory
Analytical Problem Solving: the ability to develop logical and analytical approaches to solving problems encountered in test activities.
Ability to write test software in LabVIEW.
Knowledge and ability to understand design for test.
Aerospace test background including knowledge of DO-160.
Knowledge in Aerospace Electrical Systems Design and Development.
Understanding of basic mechanics.
