Iron Bow is seeking a Network/Storage Administrator to manage FlexPods deployed around the globe as part of the Global Enterprise Fabric program. The candidate will be managing the network, server, and storage hardware platforms within the Flexpod. Will be required to perform Fiber channel zoning (Native FC and FCoE) and storage array work (provisioning LUNS, adding NFS and CIFS shares, etc). Network configuration will be light (adding VLANs, trunking, layer 2, spanning tree/MST, configurations, etc).


  • Setting up data deduplication, disk pools and tape backup devices

  • Establishing replication between locations

  • Understanding of network routing and firewall requirements to facilitate storage and application network transport

  • Develop and implement automated solutions to support operational and SLA objectives.

  • Respond quickly and effectively to network and storage issues and outages

  • Provide recommendations to improve design and reduce cost

  • Creation of reports for both clients and management

  • Has experience working in a large storage environment with formal change management practices

  • Experience with CommVault desirable

  • Experience with Cisco networking required

  • Experience with Netapp required

  • Must be detail-oriented with good organization skills


  • Current Active Secret Security Clearance (required at performance start date).

  • Experience supporting DoD customers is required; prefer to have experience in supporting Army.

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of practical experience or 6 years of direct related experience in lieu of degree requirement.

  • Current Information Assurance (IA) certification (required at performance start date): IAM Level I (Security+ CE, CAP, or GSLC)

  • Current Computing Environment (CE) certification (attainable within 6 months of performance start date): Cisco: CCNA, CCNP; NetApp: NCSA, NCDA, NCSE; or equivalent OEM storage/networking certification.

  • Looking for somoene with a min of NetApp experience or CCNA.
