About this role:
Performs basic, standardized and repetitive electronic testing operations of manufactured products and moves product according to specifications.
Properly loads/unloads test fixtures and confirms counts for tested and untested printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA's).
Prepares printed circuit boards for functional tests
Maintains a continuous flow of the manufacturing line and meeting production goals while performing the assigned test duties.
Advises Supervisors and Electronic Support Personnel of any recurring test failure, system issue or device issue so that prompt corrective action may be taken.
Ensures assemblies and fixtures are properly handled
Ensures daily logs and records are updated, maintained and accurate
Performs other tasks as needed and assigned by Supervisor
Follows and adheres to Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Policies
Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices
Maintains the cleanliness of the assigned work area
Adapts to continuous improvements and changes with a positive attitude
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Every Saturday and Sunday depending on PCBA availability 16 hours total
Holidays All company Holiday's depending on PCBA availability Minimum 6 hours and up to 8 hours.
Flexible for occasional on call requests
Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
Requires a high school education or equivalent.
Entry level experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Attention to detail
Proficient with Windows Operating System
Ability to read and comprehend English documents such as work instructions, test procedures, and department procedures.
Read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of shop tools and equipment
Ability to communicate effectively and present information (verbal, written or electronically) both one on one or in a team environment
Ability to work in a team environment, supporting the objectives and goals of the organization.
Time management skills.
Flexibility in work assignments.
