The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Test Facility Engineer. The Test Facility Engineer position will provide support to internal and external customers. Work efforts include commercial support and moderate to increasingly complex level of technical support such as specification review, testing feasibility; 3D modeling, performance testing, creation and submitting of testing reports; external customer calls; and engagement in special projects to support continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce cycle time for customer support while increasing legendary customer service. Consistent, timely compliance and utilization of company policy, procedures and tools is important. This position is located in our Pewaukee, WI location.
Review customer test specifications to determine testing feasibility
Develop quotes for testing product to our internal organization.
Demonstrates the performance of the product while interacting with customers.
Uses 3D CAD software to make models and drawings for test setups.
Develop any fabrication and assembly drawings needed to execute the tests.
Develop & execute testing protocols and technical test reports.
Interpret test results and compare them to customer's specifications then communicate results to customers.
Ensure on-time submission of all paperwork, records, documentation, such as certified testing reports and etc.
Act as technical resources to address inquiries, resolve work problems, and assist customers and internal personnel in performing their work.
Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 procedures and participate in ISO planning sessions.
Evaluate testing equipment to minimize potential equipment failure and recommend maintenance or upgrades; create a PAR when required to replace equipment.
Continually evaluate processes and methods relating to setup and testing; recommend improvements to methods, equipment and personnel to enhance efficiency, safety and product quality.
Participate in committees and focus groups or other tasks assigned by management.
Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Excellent collaborative and communication skills (written & oral)

Strong technical aptitude as it relates to the understanding of engineered solutions equipment and related tools
