Creates and implements test strategy for a new web application. Generates and maintains test plans and detailed test procedures for Web-based applications. Applies test automation tools, preferably Eggplant, to test user facing capabilities. Works with Software Engineer and Software Developer to create white / black box tests and integration tests that can be automated or uses automation to the maximum extent. Documents testing philosophy, approach and procedures in the context of making testing sustainable and repeatable.
Education Level Required:
Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science or any other Scientific or Technical discipline is required.
10 years of professionally testing web applications
5 Years experience with eggplant software testing suite
Familiarity with TestComplete
Extensive experience developing automate test solutions
Familiarity with jUnit, htmlUNIT, and other testing frameworks
Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle
