Test Engineer

Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Test Engineer position supporting Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (PEO IEW&S), Tactical Space Superiority (TSS) product office. This position requires a talented Test Engineer that can work with a multi-disciplined team to perform test and evaluation to support all phases of the system lifecycle, including design, development, and test and evaluation. The Test Engineer will be responsible for hardware and software verification and validation, including test planning, development, execution, analysis, and associated documentation. Additionally, the Test Engineer will support development of test and evaluation strategies, policies, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Draft, coordinate, and implement test and evaluation strategies, master plans, test plans and test reports.

• Conduct test and evaluation of systems to ensure they meet specifications and requirements.

• Support development of test metrics (e.g., critical technical parameters, measures of effectiveness, measures of performance, and critical operational issues).

• Identify, maintain, and schedule test resources (e.g., facilities, ranges, equipment, and material.

• Lead and/or support test preparation, execution, data collection, analysis, and reporting.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during integration and testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute test and evaluation activities to ensure seamless integration of systems and components.

• Develop and maintain documentation for integration and testing processes.

• Support Systems Engineering functional groups in the development of testable requirements.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field and at least three (3) years of experience.

• Current TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Experience planning, executing, and reporting test on DoD systems for fielding.

• Knowledge of DoD test processes and procedures.

• Ability to define, develop, maintain, and execute large scale system test plans and overarching test and evaluation strategy documents.

• Strong knowledge of integration and testing methodologies and technologies.

• Experience overseeing test execution.

• Experience writing test plans, procedures, and reports.

• Reviewing contractor test plans for completeness and working with the contractor to update the plans.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desired Experience

• Experience planning, executing, and reporting for Developmental Test Organizations or Operational Test Authority (OTA) Organizations.

• Experience integrating antennas, radars, and communications equipment.

• Experience or knowledge with agencies in the DoD test community.

• Experience working with military test ranges.

• Familiarity with DoD System Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and practices.

• Familiarity with Agile software development principles and practices.
