Working with the defense and intelligence industry, we strongly support the achievement of personal career goals and a healthy work-life balance by encouraging conference attendance, self-study, open-source contributions, or prototype development.The Test Engineer Lead will manage the project's gap between developer-controlled unit-testing and client-led acceptance-testing, identifying and prioritizing test cases/plans and their execution based on available resources.  The work includes providing overall leadership of the Test and Evaluation task. Candidates will serve as the primary liaison to the government for supporting contract coordination and task execution.  Work with systems engineers on acceptance criteria and development engineers on product configuration/operation as necessary.  Manage scheduling and completion of test activities and reporting of all discrepancies noted during test activities.Basic Qualifications: The TEST/SYSTEMS Engineer, Level 3, shall have at least the following experience:

    Twenty (20) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. 
Manage T&E resources and overall activities performed by the team; assist in mitigating roadblocks and/or clear up related discrepancies; address reallocation of work based on release/deployment priorities; ensure all processes are being followed; represent the team in meetings to include coverage of: o   Requirements Tasking / Feature Planningo    Grooming Board (backlog grooming)o    Technical Exchange Meetings (TEM)

    Ensure Quality Assurance of test processes and products. 
Drive innovation and responsiveness to program changes and evolving T&E status to help manage program risk: develop alternative courses of action, workarounds, and fallback positions with a recommended course of action for each risk, and monitor and re-evaluate risks at appropriate milestones.

    TS/SCI clearance with polygraph clearance required. Additional Desired Qualifications:
