A Test Engineer must have experience in the
coordination and execution of test events in accordance with approved test
plans, procedures and scripts. Must have
knowledge and skills to ensure that test environments are set up accurately.
Must be able to create test reports. The
test engineer must be able to test IT hardware, software, systems and networks
executing test plans and test scripts per requirements.
Document peer reviews of requirements.
Work on issues of diverse scope and complexity.
Select the appropriate methods and techniques for
applications with web services and web user interfaces.
efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
strategies and plans, estimate and manage test efforts (all test cycles).
Escalate issues and risks in a timely manner.
Aid in defect tracking from discovery to
successful correction, verification and validation.
Prior experience with the IBM Rational tool suite.
Prior use or understanding of Agile development
