The Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing Test software, hardware and processes in order to maximize the Global Engineering Group's contribution to company performance.
The Test Engineer serves as one of the leaders of the technical community, working effectively and collaboratively with all technical disciplines and functions, both internally and externally, developing new test technologies and processes for existing and new product production. This role is responsible for developing robust test/manufacturing processes to meet the needs of a very dynamic and technically challenging business.

Partnering with R&D to design and develop test systems and test protocols for new production automation as well as existing production lines.
Participate on interdisciplinary teams during early project phases identify scope for required manufacturing test systems, establish key milestones and necessary resources to bring all assigned test projects to on-time completion.
Drive test process reliability to continuously reduce scrap and improve quality of product reaching the consumer.
Support Test System Design & Validation with thorough documentation of User Requirements Specifications, Functional design specifications, IQ, OQ, FAT, SAT and PQ efforts.
Determine the priority and severity of final test requirements in accordance with FDA System Hazard Analysis, DFMEA and PFMEA.
Build the technical capability of yourself and others to strengthen the team and assure successful project execution. Including attending training to advance your skillsets, coach team members on best-practices in NI LabVIEW software design, and NI product usage.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel domestically and internationally (Europe & Asia). Length of travel will depend on the project and its phase. Anticipated travel is estimated at less than 20%.

Education and Experience
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
NI Architect level experience developing, testing, and debugging software programs using LabVIEW (NI TestStand Developer level experience a plus).
