Security Clearance: Top Secret SCI

Key Requirements:
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and other common office software. Understand telecommunications and/or computer network threats and capabilities

Relevant Experience: Extensive knowledge of the entire Air Force life-cycle testing process to include contractor testing (CT), interoperability testing, Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E), OT&E, and special T&E events like Initial and Final OT&E (IOT&E and FOT&E)

Education/Certifications: 5 years of test experience; 5 years specialized technical experience

JOB SUMMARY: Provide Mid-level test engineering support to 346 Test Squadron. Perform operational testing (OT) activities of telecommunications and computer network systems to include early influence, initial test planning, detailed test planning, test execution, test evaluation, data analysis, and test reporting.

PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support in various roles germane to that of a fast-paced, operational testing and evaluation (OT&E) environment.

  • Develop and update a variety of operational testing documents to include briefings, plans, memos, checklists, reports, etc.

  • Create documents based on various document templates from several testing organizations.

  • Develop Critical Operational Issues (COI), Operational Capabilities (OC), Measures of Effectiveness (MOE), Measures of Suitability (MOS), and Measures of Performance (MOP)

  • Develop new or modify existing test methodologies to enable a disciplined and repeatable process of OT metrics

  • Coordinate with range engineers to design and develop operationally relevant, telecommunications and/or computer test networks

  • Perform analytics on data pulled from multiple complex sources

  • Construct and execute SQL and database queries to extract needed data

VIEW JOBS 11/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-18T00:00 Description Job Description: The Defense Health Operation of Leidos is currently looking for a Research Engineer III to support biomedical research at the Naval Medical Research Unit, San Antonio (NAMRU-SA) in San Antonio, TX. NAMRU-SA conducts gap driven combat casualty care, craniofacial, and directed energy research to improve survival, operational readiness, and safety of Department of Defense personnel engaged in routine and expeditionary operations. Primary Responsibilities The ideal candidate shall: Develop and conduct protocol driven scientific research addressing various aspects of military medicine, including, but not limited to improving the diagnoses, treatment, and prevention of combat casualties and oral/dental/craniofacial diseases. Prepare experimental equipment and software, aid in development of experimental proposals, protocols and procedures using knowledge and experience in: machine learning, artificial intelligence, neural networks, mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics, numerical modeling and simulation, biomaterials, diagnostic imaging, spectroscopy and rapid prototyping. Collect and evaluate data sets, develop presentation materials, and present findings at technical and professional meetings. * Work is to be primarily performed on a government installation. The normal work week is Monday through Friday 0800 to 1630. * Some offsite travel (~10%) may be required for data collection efforts, presentations, etc. Basic Qualifications * Candidates must have completed a Masters degree from an accredited US university, or international university of equivalent standard, in Mechanical or Electrical Computer Engineering or a related field and 2-6 years of professional experience. * The candidate will be required to acquire, at a minimum, a SECRET classification access level.
