Test Engineer I (Work Remotely Anywhere In The United States)

Businessolver is looking for a Test Engineer to join our fully remote Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining and enhancing our test automation framework by documenting and automating test scenarios, creating test cases for new products and features, and automating them to ensure high coverage.

The Gig:

• Document and maintain Test Cases using Xray Test Management.

• Develop and maintain Cucumber Test Scripts, aiming for over 80% automated test coverage.

• Increase test coverage by documenting and automating test cases derived from production bugs.

• Analyze automation runs to optimize processes and address failures.

• Participate in Test Case design and Test Planning to enhance quality and coverage.

• Engage actively as a member of a scrum team, ensuring accountability and continuous progress.

• Collaborate with Software Engineers to standardize Test Engineering practices across teams.

• Occasionally perform manual testing and maintain quality standards in an Agile environment.

• Proactively work to improve the test automation framework and integrate it with continuous integration and delivery systems.

What You Need to Make the Cut:

• BS in Computer Science or 1-2 years of experience in automating tests for SaaS products.

• Familiarity with SaaS and strong understanding of testing practices such as Test Case documentation, Test Plans, and Regression Testing.

• Experience with tools like Xray, HP Quality Center, TestRail, Eclipse IDE, GitLab, Selenium, Postman, SoapUI.

• Basic programming skills in Java, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Cucumber (Gherkin).

• Proficiency in ALM tools like Jira and Confluence, and familiarity with Linux and distributed version control systems like Git.

• Experience in a team environment, excellent time management, communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

• Desirable: Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Jest, SQL, Liquibase, and experience with MS Office tools.

The pay range for this position is 56K to 70K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).

This role is eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.
