Current need for a Test Engineer to assist with the transition of probe test at healthcare client.
Bachelors degree with 5 years of Experience
Primary responsibility will be to support the U-Systems acoustic test system.
If consultant can do the programming software conversion (VEE Pro to LabView), then this would be a full- time activity until implementation.
Recent good knowledge of the VEE Pro test programming language
Familiarity with the equipment involved in transducer test: digital I/O PC boards, oscilloscopes, VXI switcher, etc.
Understanding of Multiplexing circuitry
Understanding of CPLDs (programmable devices- like large EEPROMS) used in the MUX Controller
This includes both the hardware and software aspects.

This will start as a 40 hour a week position during the learning process, hours will be reduced to part time after initial learning/transition process is completed.
Programming software conversion (VEE Pro to LabView) is a HUGE
Of course it would be very helpful if they were familiar with transducer testing.
