Enterprise Information Services, Inc. (EIS), as the Managing Member of RS3JV, LLC, is seeking a highly motivated and biometrics savvy Test Engineer to support all testing activities for our Afghanistan Automated Biometric Identification System (AABIS) and Iraq Automated Biometric Identification System (IABIS) program located in Fairmont, WV. Join our dynamic and talented AABIS/IABIS team that enjoys a professionally rewarding experience working on state-of-the-art biometrics systems that enhance our national security.


  • Supports Test Team activities in accordance with the Integrated Master Schedule

  • Develops test scripts, test scenarios, test data, and supportive documentation

  • Reviews and critiques test scripts developed by junior staff and suggests improvements as needed

  • Conducts tests of applications and COTS products in production, test, and development environments, applications about to be migrated, and applications recently patched

  • Verifies the integrity of the systems and software application under test before release to production in order to avoid impacts associated with undetected defects

  • Documents test results and compiles results of other testers into consolidated test reports for all stakeholders

  • Ensures requirements validation and supports all levels of testing, including functional, system, exploratory, 508 Compliance, security, regression, performance and load/stress testing


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year college in an IT-related field

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT experience and testing experience

  • Experience writing complex SQL queries and simple stored procedures

  • Capable of developing scripts

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical, data, and script errors

  • Familiarity with backend database and front-end web services-based applications

  • Basic Unix skills (need to be able to find log files, move log files, understand permissions and how they are applied within the Unix space)

  • Basic Windows skills

  • Experience with prevailing test tools such as HP ALM and LoadRunner

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to troubleshoot system hardware and software defects

Desired Experience in:

  • DoD systems experience, in general, and biometrics experience, in particular

  • Background in Systems Engineering, Database Development, and Software Development

Required Clearance: Favorable DoD NACI Background Check and US Citizenship

We seek a candidate to participate on high profile and transformative roadway design projects on an interdisciplinary team. Your Key Responsibilities * Quality Assurance Management as a representative of the WVDOH for large scale Design Build Projects work of contractors to ensure quality control and contractor compliance for roadway, structure and bridge construction projects of varying complexity * Inspect and monitor assigned field work activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and other contract documents * Coordinate work and inspections with contractor's representative, client personnel, and other stakeholders * Advises contractor of non-conforming work or other violations of the contract requirements. Works with the contractor to identify and implement appropriate corrective action * Ensures that highways work zones and traffic control setups conform to contract requirements * Prepares and reviews daily inspection reports for preparation of entries into Site Manager / Project Wise and is able to properly document materials as well as other test reports for materials * Tests and / or samples materials as required, coordinates with testing laboratories as needed or required * Assist in contractor's monthly evaluations, progress payments, and progress meetings Your Capabilities and Credentials * Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Demonstrated experience in WVDOT procedures and policies. * Strong leadership and ability to direct others and work with subconsultants * Good oral communications and presentation skills * Proficient with Site Manager, Project Wise and project material certification Education and Experience Bachelor degree (BS) in an engineering field or relevant experience in bridge construction, roadway, utility, and asphalt paving, can be used in place of degree with WVDOH TRET accreditation Level IV Ten (10) - fifteen (15) years of highway construction management experience Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated experience in WVDOT procedures and policies.
