Get Inspired by the Work You'll Do
Design, develop and implement of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting high-end servers and equipment
Develop, implement and maintain test process instructions (TPI) for production and train production employees on test processes
Troubleshoot and perform root-cause/failure analysis and prepare complex test and diagnostic programs. Coding on test scripts using C/C++/Java/Python/Perl/Visual Basi.
Operating System experience: Linux, RedHat, Ubunti, CentOs
Database Experience: MySQL/SQL
High-end server/blade configurations
Imaging/PC Cloning: Creation & Deployment via Ghost, Clonezilla, WDS, etc.
Develop overall integration & test strategies and schedule test plans & scripts
Design test fixtures and equipment
Complete specifications and procedures for new products
May be responsible for setting parameters and testing customer samples
Build systems to drawing package including loading applications and operating system
Review test equipment and capacity
Understand server technology, including BIOS and RAID firmware
Modify and extend existing test automation software
Execute system benchmarking
Work with vendors' engineering teams to resolve software problems
Committed to continuous improvement to comply with ISO 9001:2000 and any other regulatory standards
Your passion is sparked by:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline such as Computer/Software/Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering or Computer Science and a minimum of 12+ years related experience or equivalent business experience
Proven ability to take initiative to start and complete tasks independently and meet commitments
Able to work in a team environment and strong work ethics are essential
Excellent communications, problem solving, influencing, interpersonal skills and time management skills are key
Must have a solid background in manufacturing test development
Strong organizational skills, tracking issues and the ability to smoothly drive them to resolution at all levels of the organization are a must
Demonstrated operational and tactical planning skills with experience working on complex problems where analysis or data requires evaluation and identifiable factors are critical
A solid background in implementing strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria are necessary
Experience interacting with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions and/or customers
Hands-on experience working in a start-up and/or change management environment within the manufacturing industry is highly desirable
Experience implementing a Quality Management System (i.e. ISO 9001) preferred
Datacenter technology products (server, storage, switches, routers, and networking)
Linux, especially Centos, Fedora, Ubuntu or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Kernel compilation and ability to executive benchmark tests
System management concepts and frameworks, i.e. provisioning, monitoring, maintaining, BMC, IPMI, SNMP, iDRAC, etc.
RAID controller configuration
Ability to extend existing test code and work with other software/test personnel
Confirmed ability to manage multiple complex projects and engagements simultaneously
