The employee will be assigned to a software project to design, develop and maintain automated testing scripts for applications, programs, and other software. The employee, acting as lead, will be responsible for automation testing on the assigned project. The individual will be required to collaborate with, delegate and manage other testing resources from a project perspective to ensure the overall success of the testing effort. There are multiple projects and positions available. Required employee skills vary by project, so all those interested who have a background comparable to the requirements are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with developers, quality assurance analysts, and other stakeholders on software projects
Design and develop automated testing scripts for applications using automation tools
Lead the automation testing effort by guiding a team of other individuals. Delegate tasks, make time estimations for task completion, ensure overall effort is running smoothly to reach testing and project goals.
Communicate with client, business units, and/or project teams regarding status, progress, issues, and other topics related to overall testing effort.
Implement and maintain automated testing scripts
Execute test scripts while tracking results
Create defect status reports and validate bug fixes
Requirements
Knowledge of Java development or other object-oriented programming languages
Working knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of SDLC
Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills
Previous experience with Visual Studio, Selenium, Quick Test Pro, Sahi, or Test Complete is a plus
Previous testing experience a plus
Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and debug software issues
Bachelor degree in IT related field is a plus

The person in this position assists the drilling crew in order to obtain, report, and test soil and rock samples which are used for analysis in bridge foundation design and construction. Location: Lincoln, 1400 Highway 2 This is a temporary, full time assignment scheduled to last from date of hire until approximately 4/26/2019 Examples of Work As bridge foundations drill rig assistant, perform field testing during exploratory borings including sample logging, collection, and preservation. Assist in drilling operations for mud slurry drilling and hollow stem drilling. Assist in the coordination, preparation, and completion of exploratory boring projects which includes clearing utilities, meeting with property owners, surveying, water level monitoring and closure of boreholes. Assist the Soil Mechanics Unit with cone penetration testing and data collection through use of the Cone Penetration Test (CPT) and by obtaining samples of undisturbed soil specimens for use in laboratory testing. Provide highway traffic control during drill rig mobilization on project sites. Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. Qualifications / Requirements REQUIREMENTS: No specific education, training, or experience is required for entry to this class. PREFERRED: Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook. OTHER: Must have a valid driver's license or ability to provide independent authorized transportation. Must be available for overnight travel. Regular and reliable attendance is required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook. Knowledge of soil formations and classifications preferred but not required. Ability to lift, push/pull and carry up to 80 pounds. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and uneven terrain. Ability to use hand and power tools.
