Test Automation Engineer

HawkEye 360 is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our Test team. The Test Automation Engineer will be hands-on and responsible for coming up with overall automation for HawkEye 360's testing process. They will contribute to and setup CI/CD integrations and help in deployment of our automation framework.

Location: This position is hybrid, with part-time work-from-home flexibility.

As the Test Automation Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

• Work in Agile Squad as an automation engineer.

• Deliver on automation framework and its integration with CI/CD pipeline.

• Ensure scripts and framework is updated per the new changes.

• Ensure high quality of deliverables while enforcing test automation design best practices.

• Participate in Test Design review and discussions.

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential education and experience:

• Min. 5 years of professional experience in software testing or development

• Min. 3 years of experience with Python and Java.

• Proficiency in designing and strategizing of automation framework and solutions.

• Hands on experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.

Key Skills:

• Python

• Building Python libraries

• GitLab CI (or equivalent CI/CD tool)

• Experience with PostgreSQL or another SQL database

• Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)

• Git or another version control tool

• DevOps experience

• Docker and Kubernetes

• AWS experience (EKS and RDS)

Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually

HawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
