The Gogo Business Aviation Test Automation Engineer will have an opportunity to contribute to the development of the vast array of products and services Gogo Business Aviation provides to its customers. The possibilities could range from testing a media server/entertainment system through testing business support systems.

How will you make a difference?

  • Automation QA Position scripting and executing test cases

  • Testing applications that run on embedded systems

  • Testing application on multiple platforms including tablets, phones, and laptops

  • Testing business system applications which support internal and external customers

  • Troubleshoot defects and code resolutions

  • Contribute to highly innovate teams that work with a "Get it Done" work ethic

  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies as well as use "Agile" techniques to manage and complete user features

  • Ability to contribute productively to a fast-paced development team, delivering tested code in 2-week increments

  • Hunger for learning!


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

  • 1+ years of developing in a scripting language or Object-Oriented Development

  • This role is ideal for a highly motivated, recent graduate with internship experience

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in Groovy or Java

  • Basic computer network knowledge

  • Experience with the entire Software Development Lifecycle

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly dynamic agile environment

  • Basic Working knowledge of standard web service protocols, such as REST and SOAP

  • Operational knowledge of Linux

  • Understanding of basic algorithms, data structure, control statements, time complexity, and design patterns

  • Experience writing test cases and scenarios from requirements

  • Operational understanding of Android and iOS smartphones

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Basic understand of HTML structure

  • Experience running pre-existing automated tests for existing scenarios

  • Experience and/or interest in the aviation and/or Telecommunications industries

  • 1-2 years of experience with software quality testing

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Concourse, Spinnaker)

This position is located in Aurora, Colorado.
