As a Test Architecture Engineering Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering value for Accenture's clients. VIEW JOBS 11/10/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-08T00:00 Job Description The Senior Manager, Strategy and Operations of NYT en Español, is a strategic thinker and executer who will lead the audience strategy of the Español site. The senior manager will be a direct partner with the Editorial Director of NYT en Español and the Opinion Editor, and together, the three will oversee the site's long-term strategic goals and priorities and work with the Mexico-based editorial team. In partnership with the Editorial Director and the Opinion Editor, the senior manager will work to establish coverage and audience goals for the team to reach ambitious growth targets. This person will be the liaison between the Español team and the rest of the The New York Times company infrastructure to leverage relevant teams and resources. The Senior Manager will report to the Global Growth Editor. Specific responsibilities of the Senior Manager include: * Deeply understand the NYT en Español audience, the existing and growth audience, and then lead a strategy focused on growth and engagement * Develop and execute clear goals and plans for growing and engaging the Español readership and provide both regular reporting against KPIs to the team and stakeholders, and deeper-dive analyses on audience trends * Lead projects and ideas for engagement and design distribution strategies for our Español audience alongside the Audience Growth Editor on the NYT en Español team and the broader NYT Global/Newsroom Audience team * Explore revenue opportunities by partnering with the NYT Licensing team and the advertising team to maximize our partnerships and bundling deals and to understand our advertising needs and challenges * Partner and collaborate with the rest of the newsroom and company to represent the NYT en Español audience and team Requirements: The ideal candidate will collaborate well in a cross-functional and matrixed team; have experience in audience analytics platforms and have experience with the Spanish-speaking audience and familiarity with the Latin American media landscape to assess NYT en Español's competitive advantage and create partnerships with Latin American media, universities, journalism organizations and philanthropies that further Español's mission. The editor must bring deep affinity for The New York Times' brand, experience with the Latin America/Español media landscape, and understanding of the Latin American/Español news consumers' mindset. A background working as a journalist or with journalists in a digital media organization is a must, as is professional working fluency in both Spanish and English.
