Test and Evaluation Manager, SeniorTracking CodeUID 215.0Posted Date4/26/2024Job LocationDayton, OhioLocation of PositionDayton, Ohio, United StatesWork ArrangementHybrid: (In Office & Home)Position TypeFull-Time/RegularClearance Required?Ability to QualifyLevel of Clearance RequiredSecretPosition Funded?YesPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)* Apply knowledge of DoD test and evaluation processes to assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of test and evaluation programs (including any applicable FAA certifications and procedures) to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment, as they progress through the various acquisition phases and milestones. * Review/develop/update applicable program documentation for Test and Evaluation (T&E) management-relevant requirements across the full spectrum of actions required to award weapon system-related contracts to including but not limited to pre-award documentation, development of evaluation criteria, evaluation of contractor proposals, and post-award documentation actions. * Perform an advisory role, as required, for program source selections on all test and evaluation management related requirements. * Evaluate the levels of effort, resources, and integration required to develop executable T&E programs and execute the T&E plan. * Assist in scheduling and securing required test resources in support of project/program office objectives. * Perform material solution analyses leading up to design reviews. * Assist in the development of draft documentation and presentation materials as requested or necessitated by programmatic limits based on cost, schedule, and performance. * Review, analyze, and resolve equipment interface problems. MA/MS and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years' experience must be in the DoD -OR-* BA/BS degree, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of experience must be in the DoD -OR-* Twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) years of experience must be in the DoD* Must possesses the advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel within the technical/professional discipline. * Will demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise. (Program Office, Enterprise and Staff Level Support interface).* U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance required.Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
