About the Position: As a Test Administrator, you will administer tests in high schools and other educational institutions to individuals wishing to enter military service, using your own vehicle to transport test materials and maintaining security and inventory of the test materials.
This may require early morning travel and extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting. Some work may need to be performed from your own residence prior to arriving at the test site.

You MUST be able to cover your assigned duty location and up to a 100 mile radius (200 miles round trip) of that location.
You MUST reside within the local commuting area of your assigned duty location.
You must be able to carry 1 to 5 cases of test materials each weighing an average of 10 to 30 pounds to and from examination locations.
Conduct specified aptitude examination sessions at various high schools to determine individual ability in preparation for career exploration.
Conduct specified aptitude examination sessions at various locations to determine individual qualifications for enlistment into the military service.
Distribute, collect and sort all test materials ensuring confidentially and security of test materials is maintained. Brief applicants on completing forms and on testing procedures. Resolve problems and issues during the testing sessions.
Conduct advance coordination with school officials and facility managers to facilitate proper testing environment. Conduct test sessions utilizing paper and pencil and/or computerized test formats.
Review applicant test admission forms for completeness and to ensure applicants are authorized to enter examination area and test. Prepare test session/applicant packages for processing/mailing to appropriate office.

This is an intermittent position that consists of work performed on an irregular basis with no preset tour of duty or definite hours (i.e. not regular part-time nor full-time. Incumbent is scheduled as needed). Pay depends on actual hours worked.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as, Conducting thorough checks to ensure forms are properly completed; Distributing and collecting materials while accurately accounting for those materials; Orally presenting basic instructions to individual and/or groups and ensuring their understanding of instructions; Utilizing automated systems to provide reports/information to others.
Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12.
Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
