We are seeking 3-5 hardworking individuals to join our team as TES Retail Associates for our in-store lululemon brand launch! This temporary position requires 30-40 hours of work per week starting July 29 through September 28.

Assignment Length: Approximately 2 months

Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:

• Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time

• Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads

• Assistance with special projects

• Seasonal work

• Emergencies

Essential Functions

• Sales and Merchandising: Assisting with the launch of lululemon at the AU Bookstore, maintaining the store's visual appearance, and upholding merchandising standards.

• Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service is crucial for this position. This includes answering customer queries, providing product information, and resolving customer issues promptly and professionally.

• Flexibility: The ability to work a flexible schedule of 30-40 hours per week, including weekends, is necessary in this role.

• Independence: The ability to work independently, make sound judgments, and maintain a detail-oriented approach.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule of 30-40 hours per week, including football Saturdays and weekends.

• Communication skills; strong interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications

• Previous retail or apparel experience is preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
