This position provides support to units within the College of Liberal Arts Student Services Office including recruitment, academic advising, and career services.
Temporary Employment Services (TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
Assistance with special projects
Seasonal work
Emergencies

Essential Functions
Greets college visitors and provides a welcoming environment
Coordinates college and department visits for prospective students using Visit Days
Meets with visitors as needed
Manages prospective student databases and communication strategies
Assists with CLA Day, CLA Transfer Day, and other recruitment events on and off campus
Maintains recruitment calendar
Works on other recruitment tasks as needed
May provide support for CLA Career Services for events, marketing and communication
Assists with social media content for Student Services accounts
Checks, responds to, and processes emails for various units within CLA Student Services
Cross-trains with other specialist to support record management in Academic Advising
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Expectations:
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills

Previous experience in Handshake and Visit Days
