MITER Brands is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands also known as Milgard and MI Windows & Doors, is one of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative for our Iowa territory. In this role you will have responsibility for selling MI Windows & Doors products through our dealer/distributor channel, promoting sales and margin growth and business opportunities while providing professional product expertise, business counsel and marketing advice to our dealers, architects and home builders.

Essential Functions:

• Provide first class service to existing and new accounts in prompt, professional manner.

• Establish and grow positive relationships through account management.

• Train account associates to sell and understand key benefits of our products.

• Keep sales management informed of any issues or potential issues with the customer.

• Monitor external competition within the account and provide regular updates and recommendations to sales management to maintain and grow market share.

• Recommend changes in products, service, and policy to better serve the customer.

• Resolve customer complaints.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the product line.

• Maintain stock integrity, negotiate returns and build strong rapport with account personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS in Management, Marketing or related field; or a successful combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the position.

• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers in territory.

• Ability to successfully manage customer expectations by providing superior service to each customer.

• Able to interface and communicate effectively with individuals with diverse backgrounds at varying levels of an organization.

• Strong verbal & written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.
