Essential Responsibilities:

  • The territories cover several states, requiring extensive travel (by car), and require frequent overnight stays on a regular basis

  • Works directly with Code Officials, Builders and ProDealers to educate, train and establish understanding and knowledge that will enable them to inspect, troubleshoot and ensure proper design and installation of Roseburg EWP

  • Works directly with Code Officials, Architects, Building Designers, Engineers, Dealer Technical Associates, Dealer Sales People, Developers, Framers, and Builders to educate, train and establish understanding and knowledge of Roseburg EWP that will enable them to actively specify, design, purchase and install Roseburg Engineered Wood Products

  • Establish selling programs to accounts in a coordinated effort with the Business Director, EWP

  • Develop effective, large-scale, self-sufficient and technically competent distribution for Roseburg EWP that has the ability to design, package and deliver the product and technical support required by the market served

  • Orchestrate the company response on complaints and claims, ensuring the appropriate sense of urgency. Proactively communicate status within and outside the company

  • Embrace ownership of the cycle of order fulfillment from order receipt, through manufacturing, logistics, and A/R processes

  • Communicate the needs of the client to all internal RFP stakeholders by analyzing, organizing, and presenting data, facts and logic

  • Coordinate and manage sales efforts within assigned territory and specific accounts; assume accountability for reaching or exceeding target volume, return and sales levels

  • Establish and maintain a successful market intelligence network.

  • Create a positive working relationship with key manufacturing personnel

  • Travel to key accounts as appropriate or necessary

  • Work Trade Shows and other local and national builder events to promote Roseburg

Required Qualifications:

  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience required

  • Technically knowledgeable.

  • Minimum of three years technical sales experience in the building materials segment

  • Ability to work in various industry standard computer platforms (Microsoft Office)

  • Ability to multi-task in a changing, fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Understand and exhibit a sense of urgency

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Must understand and fully embrace our company core values.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business, Marketing or Technical degree

  • Previous industry-related experience

Trident Public Risk Solutions (TPRS), a member Argo Group US specializing in Public Entity risks, has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Territory Manager (TM) in the Northeastern portion of the US, possibly a home based employee position. The primary responsibility of this role business development: to manage production and deliver upon Trident's value proposition to our clients for the assigned territory. The role is dynamic and includes frequent collaboration with both underwriting and external stakeholders (Retail Agents, Brokers, and Aggregators). This interaction includes delivering a compelling message regarding TPRS brand, value and position in the marketplace. * Drive TPRS growth and profit through both client and product driven innovation. Partner and strategize with team on best plan of timing and execution. * Collaborate with underwriting, risk management, actuary, claims and finance to manage and produce territory profitability * Monitor, interpret and educate on market conditions including competitor strategies and coverage differences for the assigned territory * Regular strategic travel within region / territory to achieve business objectives * Develop, maintain and adapt annual business plans with key partners to drive specific territory objectives. * Coordinate external communication within assigned territory * Using knowledge of all segments with Agro Group, support cross-sell opportunities identified with our broker/agent partners * Identify, implement and monitor necessary sales initiatives within territory Qualifications: * Minimum 3+ years in an Commercial Insurance role which includes external production or business development (including underwriting, claims/loss control knowledge and experience) * BA/BS required * Technology Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Agency/broker & Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. * Team focused skills to interactively collaborate with members at multiple levels within the organization towards achievement of quarterly and annual objectives * Effective and proven presentation skills / experience * Proficiency in data collection, collation and analysis * Leader in customer focus and interactive capability * Travel required based upon territory dynamics * Highly organized with ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain professional demeanor at all times We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
