Our client, is a leading global manufacturer of event marquees, tents, and temporary structures, serving diverse sectors such as events, government, sports, industry, and aviation. Based in Germany, the company emphasizes innovation, offering a wide range of customizable and high-quality structure systems supported by a team of experts. Naviga has been retained to identify an Outside Sales Representative.Title: Sales Representative
Location: Remote, USResponsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets in the Events, Industrial/Commercial, and Military segments
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across North America
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including company owners, procurement managers, and technical managers
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations to demonstrate product capabilities and value propositions
  • Handle client inquiries, provide technical consultations, and customize solutions based on client needs
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate leads from the website and other channels
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent sales performance
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure, typically within 4 weeks, with some large projects taking up to 6 months
  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure product designs meet client specifications and standards
  • Manage post-sale activities, including client support, project follow-ups, and addressing any issues
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role, ideally within the industrial or event sectors
  • Proven experience in technical selling/consulting within the building industry, including permanent buildings or temporary building rentals (tent rental)
  • Strong understanding of basic design guidelines and the ability to consult on technical aspects of products
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-value deals ranging from $100k to $2M, typically between $100k and $300k
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel extensively across North America to meet clients and prospects
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field is preferred
