The Fluke Process Instruments division of Fluke Corporation is the world leader in the manufacture, distribution and service of infrared temperature sensors. We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the Central Region of the United States. The RSM is responsible for supporting and managing channel partners in Ohio, Michigan, and Western Pennsylvania. The position will be based out of a home office and will report to the Director of Sales-Americas.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage a business plan to meet or exceed corporate objectives and sales goals in assigned geography.

  • Assess business conditions by geography and vertical market to modify local go to market strategy.

  • Provide direction, training, coaching, and feedback to Representative Agencies.

  • Identify, evaluate, recommend and train new Representative Agencies.

  • Set sales goals and objectives for territories and Representative Agencies.

  • Provide the Director of Sales with monthly outlook and forecast.

  • Generate target list of large end-user customers to pursue. Utilize CRM to identify, develop, and close large-scale sales opportunities with targeted end-users.

  • Work closely with sales management and corporate staff to ensure coordination and cooperation in support of sales efforts.

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Four year degree preferred, preferably in a technical discipline

  • Strong technical expertise and experience working with and selling a technical product

  • Experience working with manufacturers representatives and distributors

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in technical, solution-based sales

  • Experience managing a large, multi-state territory

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and CRM software

  • Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and problem solving skills
