AMERICAN GREETINGS has an exciting career opportunity in the North Phoenix and surrounding area for an experienced candidate with a background in sales or retail management with a desire to jump into the rewarding and challenging business of the social expressions industry.
Territory includes Surprise, Peoria, Sun City West, Prescott and Flagstaff as well as some accounts in Holbrook and Show Low.
Your responsibilities include hiring, training and managing merchandisers who service accounts on a regular basis. You will be responsible for all aspects of territory management including: planning and conducting account calls, implement sales programs and promotions, and completing various administrative duties. Your keys to success will be your ability to obtain financial goals and generate revenue within your territory's accounts.
As part of the Field Sales Operations team, you will:
Manage a territory which includes 200-250 retail accounts primarily consisting of big box stores, supermarkets and dollar stores.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with store management
Hire, train and manage a staff of 50-60 part-time merchandisers responsible for merchandising all American Greetings products within the assigned account space
Plan and conduct account calls to increase sales.
