Title: Territory Sales & Execution Manager, Chicago

How You Will Contribute to La Colombe's Mission:

The Territory Development Manager will drive performance within their territory through strong distributor partnerships and by building strong working relationships at store level with key retail accounts. Ensure that the La Colombe brand is top of mind with distributors and the distributor's efforts are focused on executing and growing the La Colombe brand in identified market areas of responsibility . Expected to be in the market / stores 4 to 5 days a week.

Your Main Responsibilities:

SALES LEADERSHIP Execute retail sales plans in partnership with ISO, PASO & KDP distribution teams. Leads the day to day sales and distribution management for a designated territory to include all DSD partners within territory. Execution of regional & local marketing and sales programs. Gain incremental distribution of La Colombe products. Gain incremental La Colombe display space during key promotional windows. Take ownership for the development of the convenience / UDS channel and regional grocery retailers. Executes POS and general merchandising to give La Colombe visibility at store level within all channels.

PERFORMANCE RESULTS & REPORTING Consistently meets or exceeds territory sales & revenue forecasted goals. Manages distributor execution and achieves KPIs within assigned territory. Achieves incremental display penetration with assigned territory. Submits weekly trackers and recaps with objectives, results, barriers, and opportunities.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT This role is at the center of many key relationships that need to be nurtured. Build strong working partnership with KDP counterparts and key retailer local store management. Manage distributor relationships at sales representatives level to be sure La Colombe is always top-of-mind and merchandising standards are being executed flawlessly.

BUSINESS LEADERSHIP Collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders. Participate in and lead efficient and effective meetings at the distributor level. Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager on business planning & analysis for the region. Ensure assigned distributors are aware of and aligned to executional expectations. Participate in quarterly business reviews with assigned distributors.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 3 years of DSD sales & marketing experience

  • Experience managing distributor relationships

  • Experience executing store level retail programming

  • Experience driving independent distribution and display penetration at retail

  • Existing local retail and/or distributor relationships are a plus

  • Proven track record of sales management experience & achievement

  • Professional, positive and proactive written and verbal communication skills

  • Superior presentation skills to tell a compelling story and influence decision makers

  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

  • Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks on time and to expectation

  • Enjoys working in an extremely fast paced and evolving hyper-growth environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

  • Must have a car with clean driving record and valid driver's license

  • Must be able to travel throughout assigned territory and other markets as needed

  • "Must be capable (with or without accommodation) of bending and lifting to set up displays, adjust shelves during resets, move product, etc."

Compensation:

  • Bonus Potential: 20%

  • Cell Phone and Internet Allowance: $125/month

  • Year 1 PTO: 15 Days

  • Paid Holidays: 8 Annually
