DSI SYSTEMS, the nations largest home services distributor has an immediate need for a motivated individual to fill a Territory Manager Sales position in OR/ WA/ ID/ MT. This person will be responsible for signing up and managing new and existing authorized retailers, examining and understanding dealers business needs, and growing the territory, through existing account growth and new dealer acquisition. The primary goal is to increase AT&T/DIRECTV commercial, Viasat high speed satellite internet, and Vivint SmartHome activations.

  • Prospect businesses for AT&T/DIRECTV commercial, Viasat, and Vivint SmartHome business opportunity.
  • Travel 3-4 days per week in assigned territory, attend vendor meetings, and internal meetings.
  • Build a pipeline of new dealer prospects and onboard a minimum of 2 new active dealers per month per vertical.
  • Represent DSI to our dealer base and build key relationships with our vendor partners.
  • Be an advocate for our dealers while advising their business on key metrics, marketing, and growth. Key metrics include attachment rates, loyalty, mix and quality.
  • Network with local business groups and established contacts.
  • Set weekly, monthly and quarterly goals and consistently measure performance.
  • Exceed goals in sales and activation targets.
  • Measure progress weekly with market conditions, dealer performance, training, and prospect pipeline.
  • Execute company directives through dealer base.

Requirements

  • Sales Professional with a strong background and proven track record.
  • Prospect for elite AT&T/DIRECTV business opportunity through identifying leads, cold call, managing pipeline, organizing application process, communicating with AT&T/DIRECTV partners, onboarding and launching your new dealer to success. Ability to Show them how its done.
  • Dynamic, highly-motivated individual with the integrity and passion to succeed.
  • Prompt, strategic, highly organized, effective time management, goal-oriented with proven results.
  • Ability to understand the competition and how to position your dealers to succeed in a competitive marketplace.
  • Ability to learn industry key metrics and translate to an executable action plan.
  • Bilingual (Not Required but a plus)
  • Experience with Big Box Stores (Not Required but a plus)
  • Ability to have a business discussion including financials, cash-flow, and marketing tactics with independent business owners.
  • Experience with subscription-based services and face-to-face marketing tactics.
  • Knowledge of how to plan an event and work events to generate sales.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Satellite and/or security industry - Preferred

A DAY IN THE LIFE: * Educates patients, physicians, nurses, educators, and other health care professionals (HCP's) regarding the importance of intensive management of patients with diabetes using Medtronic Diabetes products. * Collaborates with sales counterpart to develop and implement territory growth strategy * Demonstrates products to new patients, consulting with them on therapy options and helping to close the sale via discussions at various training locations including doctor offices, diabetes centers, and occasionally patient homes. * Trains patients and health care professionals (HPC's) on Medtronic MiniMed's products, operations, and therapy. * Troubleshoots clinical and technical issues regarding Medtronic MiniMed products and therapy. * Assists HCP in assessing and managing patient's Medtronic therapy to help ensure positive outcomes * Trains physicians and nurses (HCP's) on how to optimize glycemia using standard Blood Glucose (BG) readings and sensor technology. * Consults and presents to individuals and groups on behalf of Medtronic Diabetes * Plans, organizes and manages assignments within allotted budget. * Travels in assigned territory on a regular basis and attends seminars, symposiums and special events as directed. * Recruits, manages and trains Medtronic Diabetes Certified Pump Trainers (CPT's) within assigned territory, and responsible for managing CPT related expenses. * Collaborates with other Medtronic Diabetes departments to ensure optimal patient experience * Participates in ongoing competency development through an array of medium including in-person and web-based training. * Becomes an integral part of the Sales Team. MUST HAVE - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, PLEASE BE SURE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME * Bachelor's degree * Minimum of three (3) years field sales experience; or, Minimum of three (3) years inside sales experience with Medtronic Diabetes; or Minimum of two (2) years Medtronic Diabetes field clinical experience in a sales environment (i.e. 2 years as a Medtronic CTM) NICE TO HAVE: * Prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales experience highly preferred. * Previous sales award recipient due to strong sales performance (i.e. President's Club, Rookie of the Year). * Strong data analysis, evaluation and problem solving skills. * Knowledge of Diabetes products and therapies * Preference given to local candidates. * Demonstrable success in previous employment indicated by high level of sales performance. * Must demonstrate deep understanding of the customer to drive, challenge and push thinking. * Demonstrated experience in making multiple referral calls on a daily basis. * Proven job skills in business planning/consulting and territory financial analysis. * Ability to execute sales strategies in a complex, multi-faceted environment * Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills; team oriented; conceptual/consultative sales skills. * Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. * Ability to exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. * Must successfully complete sales training.
