Job Purpose

Ria is looking for a Territory Manager to join our Central Sales team. This position will play a key role in increasing our market and Ria brand. As a Territory Manager, you will report directly to the Regional Manager and primarily be responsible for managing our agent network, growing transaction volume and successfully selling to potential agents. The ideal candidate will reside in Arkansas and be fluent in English and Spanish to support our business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Spend a majority of the time (70%) recruiting new agents and (30%) developing existing ones within assigned territory

  • Manage the entire sales process from identifying prospects, cold calling, face to face meetings, product/ service demonstration to the vetting process of a potential agent

  • Actively and successfully manage the sign-up, set-up and training of an agent in our money remittance platform and compliance

  • Provide new and existing agents with standard merchandising and POS material

  • Regularly call on agency decision-makers and personnel to train, monitor product/consumer dynamics and develop strong relationships with agents to ensure long term loyalty to the company

  • Make fact-based recommendations on product pricing and commission

  • Execute both self-conceived and assigned marketing plans to support transaction growth

  • Analyze market data and company reports to address, reinforce, or correct market and/or agency performance trends and capitalize on market opportunities

  • Support various departments at headquarters to ensure that agents comply with policies and procedures

  • Secure and forward marketplace/competitive reconnaissance to senior management

Job Requirements


  • Associates, Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of successful outside sales experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in outside sales, business developments and account management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish

  • Must possess experience in cold calling, product demonstration and selling products or services

  • Ability to travel within assigned territory daily, have a valid driver license, reliable transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the company and state law

  • Must possess basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization

  • The key characteristics this individual must possess are strong interpersonal skills, works well under no supervision, self-motivated and time management

  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior money transfer or money service business experience

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work from home and travel to assigned territory daily

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time as a driver in an automobile

  • Ability to visit businesses and work in tight places to install equipment

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds

Working closely with field sales and Marketing, executes field level surgical case support and professional training plans that help achieve annual sales targets. Travels extensively, using extended stays in a field based territory to build strong and lasting customer relationships. Target customers include physicians, nurses, technicians, administrators, office staff, sales personnel and others whose responsibilities may require the need for knowledgeable support of BioSurgery products. If successful, this role will eventually lead to formal territory responsibility as a Territory Manager. Associate Territory Managers must be open to relocation anywhere in the U.S. to assume responsibility for an open territory. Responsibilities: * Coordinates with field sales, the logistics, timing, duration, strategy and execution of field level customer training and technical support of clinical cases * Works with sales management in prioritizing targeted customers, cases and training events * Supports the development of regional physician proctors to help with formal and informal training activities * Conducts training and in-servicing for hospital surgery staff and support personnel * Supports the development of regional centers of excellence and works with Marketing on the execution of territory physician training seminars * Provides support for regional marketing events, conventions and symposia * Performs special projects and other duties as assigned * Maintains equipment, advertising, and promotional matter in a presentable and orderly manner * Completes all paperwork on time and thoroughly; Keeps accurate up-todate account records; Utilizes funnel to set goals and target accounts * Proper use of productive selling time; i.e., dealer calls in late afternoon with a minimum of three O.R.s per day and four surgeon contacts per day.
