Ecolab is searching for Territory Managers for future opportunities in the Rutland, VT. Within our industry leading Institutional division, this outside sales offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality industries. After completing an initial training program, you will be assigned to an established territory of customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do:

  • Grow sales within an existing territory of food service and hospitality accounts by providing customers with training, regular and emergency service and sales demonstrations

  • Cold-call and prospect to secure new accounts, as you build Ecolab's brand in your market

  • Learn customers' warewashing systems and devise unique solutions as their expert on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs

  • Apply your mechanical aptitude to install, repair and perform maintenance on ware washing, laundry and dispensing equipment and systems; leveraging this service to strengthen the customer relationship

  • Ensuring that your customers' facilities are fully operational and teams are properly trained by demonstrating safe equipment use

Position Details:

Candidate must reside within 45 miles of Rutland, VT

Weekend Rotation: 1 in 4

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1 year of outside sales experience

  • Willing to be on call during off hours and during weekend coverage

  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record

  • No Immigration Sponsorship available

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to complete pre-employment assessments including a physical, lift and carry 50 pounds, color vision test and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous business to business commercial sales experience

  • Industry related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality and/or pool and spa

  • Mechanical problem solving experience (e.g. plumbing, electrical, HVAC and/or mechanical experience)

Summary of Job:   The Sustainability Regional Manager for the Northeast leads the environmental sustainability efforts for Okemo Mountain Resort, Stowe Mountain Resort, and Mount Sunapee operations. This role will work with the Director of Sustainability, Vail Resorts’ Sustainability Team, local leadership, and employees across business units to identify and implement sustainability projects and programs. These programs will be in support of the Commitment to Zero initiative, and our environmental goals including energy and emissions, zero waste, and more. This role will focus on integrating our operations and employees with our sustainability goals, through program development, oversight and implementation. The Sustainability Regional Manager is also expected to represent Okemo Mountain Resort, Stowe Mountain Resort, and Mount Sunapee in environmental matters with the local communities and public agencies.    Job Responsibilities:   * Initiate, oversee, and implement our Commitment to Zero vision and environmental sustainability programs to achieve a zero net operating footprint. * Be a sustainability leader that drives innovative programs in the areas of energy and emissions, waste, supply chain management, and other relevant areas to inspire our employees and our guests. * Significant focus will be placed on achieving Vail Resorts’ 50% waste diversion goal by 2020. * Support the identification and implementation of energy efficiency projects at the resort level, along with renewable energy opportunities with local utilities and community partners. * Project management: Effectively manage complex capital and budgetary projects that may involve multiple departments, time constraints, and external partners that further our sustainability goals. * Engagement and outreach: Effectively communicate environmental sustainability through various channels that will demonstrate leadership and drive guest and employee loyalty to our programs and resorts. * Teamwork: Act as a contributor and leader within the greater Vail Resorts Sustainability Team. * Supports branding, positioning, and outreach of environmental initiatives to guests, employees, and communities in alignment with Epic Promise. * Frequent travel will be required regularly between Okemo, Stowe, and Mt. Sunapee. Occasional travel will be required to the Corporate Headquarters in Colorado and offsite events at various locations. * Support environmental compliance efforts, as needed.   Job Requirements   * Primary work location at Okemo Mountain Resort * Bachelor's degree required * Proficient skier/snowboarder for travel within resort in winter season * Knowledge of energy and waste systems * Comfortable speaking in front of groups and making new relationships * Demonstrated ability to work un-supervised * Strong computer skills in Excel required * Ability to meet travel requirements   Preferred Skills and Experience   * 4+ year experience preferably in sustainability including energy and waste reduction * Mountain resort or hospitality experience preferred * Experience with waste diversion and waste reduction strategies * Experience with energy management and energy efficiency strategies * Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
