Job Description:

The Territory Manager role assists in aquiring new businesses by developing strong customer relationships, maintaining an active call back list, and creating and following-up referrals from existing customers. This person is responsible for business development, achieving set sales budgets (as identified by the sales persons Sales ID), specifically the Warehouse and Direct Budget, GP% and the number of New Accounts opened.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with customers, vendors, management, and team members

  • 2+ years previous outside sales experience

  • Ability to obtain and retain new customers

  • Proven ability to effectively price quote and use follow-up communication.

  • Ability to operate a PC and related software

  • Strong ability to prioritize and meet company timelines/goals

Education:

Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:
3+ years front-line sales experience in wholesale industry Bachelor's degree

We are currently seeking a strong Territory Manager to join our Tulsa, OK team. Details are as follows: SUMMARY This position is responsible for achieving the sales expectations of the assigned geographic territory and business segment. Success is realized by building strong customer relationships, conducting consultative sales calls, following a proactively identified targeting plan, and advising Physicians and healthcare members on the clinical use of Nuvectra's Spinal Cord Stimulation system. RESPONSIBILITIES The keys to success listed here will lead to identified customers for Nuvectra's Algovita system, which this individual will need to educate and assist through the various phases to the sales process. This position interacts extensively with other departments within the organization to ensure the complete satisfaction of our patients, Physicians, and Healthcare customers. * Develops plans and strategies for developing key new Physician customers and healthcare accounts. * Minimally achieves and preferably exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual new account and overall sales goals. * Demonstrates daily accountability to meeting and preferably exceed sales objectives. * Manages accounts in the assigned geography by preparing account plans for top accounts and proactive strategies for pursuing each new healthcare customer. * Exceeds customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer/patient satisfaction. * Provides detailed and accurate sales forecasting by maintaining reporting minimally weekly. * Prepares thorough and detailed product presentations for prospect accounts and Physicians. * Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to company leadership. * Works closely with the Marketing function to establish successful patient/customer adoption at each individual customer/account site. * Manages customer relationships and provides leadership in closing strategic opportunities. * Is considered the "tip-of-the-spear" contact point for their patients, customers and accounts. * Constant driver of sales excellence and possesses a "sense of urgency" in goal attainment. * Demonstrates outstanding product, technical, and clinical expertise. * Completes all administrative requirements on time and accurately. * Maintains company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing the company. Travel Requirements: This position requires daily travel within defined geography and may require business travel of up to 25% outside of defined geography. Occasional attendance of local and national industry meetings, trade shows, and sales meetings is also required. EDUCATION BA/BS degree (preferably in life sciences, business, nursing, or marketing preferred) EXPERIENCE Have a minimum of 5 years of documented, successful sales experience with supportive results. * Preferred Experience: * Successfully representing and launching a Revolutionary, Pioneering, and Disruptive Technology/Product strongly preferred. * Experience selling directly to the Interventional Pain Management, Neurosurgery or Anesthesiology Healthcare Physician communities. * Experience and Success selling to the C-level of large Hospital/Clinic or Ambulatory Surgical Center strongly preferred. * Experience selling regional and/or national purchasing organizations (NPO/GPOs), national/regional hospital networks, and individual hospitals/surgery centers preferred * Knowledge and experience calling on the Hospital or Clinic industry is preferred. * Solid process orientation, demonstrated resource management / allocation experience, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously. * Intellectual, self-starter and independent thinker, with the aptitude to work autonomously. * Robust interpersonal skills, with evidence of teamwork and collaboration. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with customers and patients at all levels. * Creative thinker and appropriate risk taker. * Understands and is able to operate within appropriate legal and regulatory guidelines. * Ability to influence decision makers in large and complex environment. * Capable of selling new solution in mature markets. * Work well in cross matrix organization.
