Territory Managers / Trade Marketing Representatives are assigned to a geographic territory where they are responsible for:
Calling on established traditional and nontraditional retail outlets
Selling and executing national/local brand building marketing programs and initiatives within these accounts
Achieving assigned quantitative and qualitative sales goals and brand building measures
Building outstanding relationships with store managers/owners by providing expert tobacco/consumer insights and advice through the development of individual business plans
Participating in relationship marketing by conducting effective "1 to 1" Consumer Engagements through a thorough understanding of Consumer Marketing Brand Strategies
Actively promoting the marketing mix through direct discussions with retailers using analytical proficiency and influencing skills to promote a beneficial business plan for RJRT and our retailers.
Consistently demonstrating the application of company values in all business interactions. It is expected that Territory Managers / Trade Marketing Representative will become not only a passionate tobacco expert, but a valuable business consultant whose analysis, judgment and knowledge of the consumer and industry dynamics makes for a valuable partner to our retail customers.

Territory Managers will be given in depth training to focus on product sales and distribution, as well as Consumer Marketing Brand Strategies, effective consumer engagement, and tobacco product awareness.

It is the Branch Manager's responsibility to ensure the Branch is in compliance with operating policies and procedures as well as outside regulatory requirements. A Branch Manager 4 will normally manage a branch office with $100MM in combined loans and deposits (excluding commercial loans). This position will have consumer lending authority. A valid driver's license is required. Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as required by regulations. Employees in this job must register and comply with all rules and regulations of The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (The SAFE Act). Employees hired or transferring into this position will need to meet the qualification requirements, in Community Bank's sole discretion, under Reg. Z, prior to acting as a loan originator in a consumer credit transaction secured by a dwelling. Qualification requirements include but are not limited to an assessment of overall financial responsibility, character, and general fitness through review of a criminal background check and credit report. Ideal candidate should have a minimum seven (7) years experience in related banking and/or lending positions. Education and training: * B.S. or B.A. Degree or related equivalent * Specialized banking education, experience and training Skills: * Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematic skills * Proficient interpersonal relationship, communication and sales skills * Demonstrated management and supervisory skills sufficient to manage a staff of nine (9) or more employees * Thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank products and services * Working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures Responsibilities: * Make certain all branch office operations are performed in accordance with established bank policies and procedures, either directly or through appropriate supervisor * Provide for proper security, maintenance and cleanliness of the office, supervise the opening and closing of the building and vault, plus make necessary provisions for the securing and accounting of negotiable papers * Ensure the branch office is properly staffed, staff is trained to meet customer service needs/sales objectives and all personnel adhere to operating policies and procedures along with outside regulatory requirements * Work with management to establish growth, sales, and profit objectives for assigned branch as well as integrating activates * Serve as an active member of the branch office's customer service team by performing all duties of a Retail Services Officer and be held accountable for sales performance * Make outside sales and customer service calls on present and prospective customers within the branch office's market area * Establish specific sales and customer service goals for each sales representative and guarantee sales/customer service reporting information is provided on a timely basis * Organize, schedule and distribute work among assigned personnel * Approve subordinates loans in excess of their lending limits and take overall responsibility for the branch's loan quality * Implement strategies to achieve goals given to the branch * Help in the development of the annual budget for the branch and adhere to budget parameters * Monitor and review accounts for appropriate risk rating to avoid risk rating changes by loan review, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) or other loan review processes * Assist with the selection of new personnel, make provisions for proper orientation and training, and review employee performance throughout the probationary period as well as on a regularly scheduled basis * Conduct regularly scheduled (at least monthly) sales and customer service meetings * Manage and maximize performance levels of staff and take appropriate performance improvement action as necessary * Demonstrate cooperative efforts working within own department as well as other departments and encourage similar behavior from staff * Actively participate in the community with a manner that reflects favorably on the Bank * Respond to advertising and contribution requests * Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion * Perform other related duties as assigned or directed Other information: As an integral member of the assigned Banking Department, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the branch and the Bank in achieving their annual goals.
