Territory Account Manager, Kepware

Location: Portland, ME

The Territory Account Manager is responsible for working with new and existing customers to help diagnose customer needs and recommend the appropriate Kepware products to meet those needs. Ensuring a high level of customer service, while having a deep understanding of the vertical markets we operate in, in order to identify further opportunities and grow the Kepware business.

The Territory Account Manager will be a member of the Kepware Direct Sales team. They will be working alongside our Partners, Other PTC Product Sellers, Orders Management, Accounts Receivable, Marketing and others to provide a great level of customer service, as well as help the company continue to grow and innovate based on market needs.

You will be responsible for managing the territory and identifying the appropriate accounts that would benefit from Enterprise Connectivity based on different criteria. Once identified it will be your responsibility to position and close the opportunity in a timely fashion. Responsibilities include utilizing PTC's CRM to quote, and track opportunities until closing. The Territory Account Manager will also work with PM to help determine future enhancements based on customer requests. As well as work with Marketing to help develop targeted approaches to continually drive new business.

Skills and knowledge:

  • Demonstrated ability to continuously maintain a high-level of customer service while hitting quota

  • Track record of closing enterprise level, 6 figure deal sizes

  • The ability to use strategic knowledge to work your way "up" / identify further opportunity within an organization to ensure optimal business retention and appropriate closing practices.

  • Self-motivated to dive deeper when necessary without the need of direction from higher management.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business program, or otherwise equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in enterprise sales. (Within the technology industry preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
