The Aruba HPE sales team is seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individuals for various future opportunities as Territory Account Managers.

Serves as the overall account lead (single point of contact) for numerous, large named accounts in an assigned country, geographic territory and/or industry; understands a client's key business and IT challenges and requirements and is focused on driving value for the client, while maximizing revenue and margin for the company. Specializes in a value or volume specialty (computers, servers, storage, services, printers) with focus on growing the base business, complex solutions, and new business opportunities. Accounts may be managed remotely. Is supported primarily by presales and inside sales resources. These jobs focus on selling to customers, typically through work that occurs outside the company offices.


  • Builds growth opportunities using the account planning process; actively manages planning process through scheduled reviews and updates.

  • Extensive time working with and leveraging external partners to deliver solution sale.

  • Significant percentage of time spent directly with customer; interfaces with all levels, including highest within customer organization; highly diverse set of functions and buyers; focus in on management level.

  • Develops business plan in conjunction with customer.

  • Applies consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities that result in ongoing profitable revenue growth for the company.

  • Maintains high-level of customer loyalty and builds trust and integrity, as indicated in company conducted surveys and reports.

  • Responsible for achieving/managing quarterly, half yearly, annual quota and/or margin.

  • Enters all opportunities in pipeline tool and updates them weekly. Recommends and Implements industry leading Pipeline management practices.

  • Ability to implement margin recovery activities/strategies.

  • Acts as a first interface for international accounts in collaboration with members of global business teams, and local teams.

  • Identifies customer requirements, matches with company capabilities and chooses the respective company supply chain accordingly (Volume Direct or Indirect).

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or Bachelor's degree.

  • Detailed knowledge of key customer types or customers on given products.

  • Viewed as expert in company; sought out by other Sales Representatives and/or first level managers for input.

  • Typically 8-12 years of experience as referenced above.

  • Industry experience required.

  • Experience in product specialty (computers, printers, servers, storage).

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Has good leadership skills and cross functional expertise.

  • Must have good time management skills.

  • Broad understanding of the customer's needs; applies standard as well as creative solutions to meet those needs; particularly considering the specific industry/market.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external partners on multiple levels to deliver appropriate solution sale.

  • Hi level customer management relationship building, working at management and executive level in lines of business.

  • Partner organization intelligence aligned with partner management skills.

  • Advanced sales negotiation, and deal closing skills.

  • Identifies and effectively leads the account resources to ensure coordinated, efficient, account management, and accountability for achieving business results.

  • Expertise in managing end- to-end sales processes in large deals.

  • Relevant knowledge of client's industry; keeps abreast of trends and lead discussions with IT on strategic directions and linking discussions.

  • Knowledge of the company's breadth of solutions and engages specialist resources as needed.

  • Ability to understand the customer's business issues and translate to the company's solutions.

  • Ability to prioritize and drive strategic sales activity on a complex solution basis.

  • Excels in competitive selling skills.

  • Sells across platform and specialty.

Spectrum Brands is seeking a business athlete, an organized, analytical, well-spoken and detail-oriented individual to join the eCommerce & Omni Sales team to directly engage with Retail partners and internal teams. The National Account Manager (NAM) must apply a wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities to develop and implement strategic initiatives (incorporating consumer needs, marketing initiatives, negotiations, product development roadmaps, customer pilots, and supply chain innovation) to drive the performance of our brands online and offline. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Strategic (70%) Develop, execute, meet or exceed the annual net sales and profit strategy for assigned account: * Own the ecommerce and omni-channel strategies, utilizing the 6 ecommerce pillars (Selection, Price, Content, Search, Inventory and Marketing), focusing on long-term, sustainable growth * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Retail partners * Continuously assess strategies and adjust strategy or execution as needed Create "Think Big" opportunities, align customer strategies with internal business plans * Identify consumer-centric opportunities that can be addressed through innovation and collaboration with assigned retailer * Continuously assess retailer's programs to determine participation levels * Drive internal support and partnerships to develop retailer centric critical capabilities * Make and champion recommendations to ensure internal client media and external brand activities are executed to support overall account objectives Influence total Spectrum Brands Omni-channel strategy: * This role will recommend enhancements to existing plans as well as develop nascent strategies to grow total market segment share Tactical (20%) Maintain the Omni-channel foundation Develop and deliver distribution, promotion, merchandising, and pricing strategies Identify selection and marketing gaps with Pet: * Analyze the selection opportunities, including B2B, bundles, and product innovation to drive incremental growth in the category; bridge marketing need with PHG capabilities Partner with internal teams to: * Manage day to day execution and maintain retail partner account * Achieve or exceed base reliability metrics (in-stock, fill rate, compliance, etc.) Communicate retail partner business results: * Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual updates; this includes tracking for retail partner sales and ecommerce pillars metrics as well as "Think Big" strategic project updates * Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships in all functions * Understand partner expectations and align Spectrum capabilities Attend customer meetings and trade conferences as appropriate May coordinate activities of National Accounts with Field Sales Managers in other regions and with internal senior management Assist in developing consumer insights: * Integrate with our brand/marketing team to aggregate consumer and retailer insights to develop new insights into shopping behavior and product development Support (10%) Share best practices across customer teams: * Work across our internal teams to leverage best practices and economies of scale Education and Experience Profile Minimum: An equivalent combination of: * 5-7 years of experience * BS/BA degree or relevant classroom experience in ecommerce, brand management, financial analysis, retail buying and/or planning, product/project management, or marketing Preferred: * BS degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing or equivalent.
