The Terrain Park Attendantis a labor intensive position that isresponsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of all features as well as promotingsafety awareness, educating on Terrain Park etiquette, and providing positive guest relations within the terrain parks and half pipe. Daily responsibilities include opening and closing the terrain park, ensuring all signage is visible, testing features and assessing risk and liability each morning. The Terrain Park Attendant will provide exceptional guest service and work outdoors in all weather conditions for the entire day. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be anexpert skier/rider in the park and overall

  • Must be able to testsmall rails and boxes, tables, etc.

  • Able to lift up to 50lbs (raking, shoveling & liftinglarge metal objects)

  • Able to work outdoors in adverse winter weather conditions for up to10 hours/day

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, comprehend and understand English fluently

  • Must be able to direct guests and look out for safety concerns

  • Must have a good work ethic

  • Must beveryresponsible and diplomatic

  • Valid US Driver's License

  • May be required to work weekends and/or holidays

  • Must be available to work the entire season

  • Mustpass a ski/ride test to ensure expertlevel

Reach Your Peak.       Job Summary: The Guest Services Attendant is responsible for exceeding guests expectations and ensuring a world class ski resort experience while providing top notch guest service. The position requires you to greet each guest and provide assistance at the base areas, as well as other areas in the village and on the mountain. The Guest Services Attendant may provide safety guidance and information. This individual will be asked to give information to guests and assist in various roles assigned to them. In this role, you will be the problem solver for our guests; the first and last stop in ensuring their needs are met.   Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * All duties and responsibilities within the Guest Services department. * Providing 100% accurate communication to all guests and employees. * Being the face of Attendant and responsibly represent Attendant in all environments. * Process and deliver resort communication (snow reports, etc) to assigned outlets. * Work with Group Sales and help organize and escort ski groups to proper location(s) at the resort. * Ability to adhere to required responsibilities in an unsupervised environment. * Assist Base Operations with opening duties and daily resort readiness. * Maintaining a professional and friendly attitude in all extremes of weather and in all dealings with guests; * Recognize existing and potential problems and suggest resolutions. * Greet and engage guest as they arrive and leave  * Guest point of contact for any and all questions and needs to help create the ‘Experience of a Lifetime’.   Requirements: * Guest Service/Customer Service experience; * Ability to work in all weather conditions including snow and sunshine; * Ability to stand for long periods of time; * Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English language proficiently; * Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. * Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.   Preferred skills: * High school diploma or equivalent; * An outstanding personality that is approachable, friendly, and outgoing. * Ability to multitask, stay calm in stressful situations, and work independently with minimal supervision.   Kirkwood is for those that embrace the big mountain lifestyle and are as passionate about skiing and riding as they are about creating amazing experiences for our guests.
