NISC III currently has several openings at multiple levels for a terminal instrument procedures (TERPS) Flight Procedures Specialist supporting the FAA National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC) program in its Oklahoma City location. The TERPS Flight Procedures Specialist provides support to the FAA Aeronautical Information Services Group (AJV-5). Primary support for this position will be to the instrument procedures Periodic Review Team. Provides technical expertise to FAA Aeronautical Information Services Group and Service Area Flight Procedures Teams on the concepts and principles contained in FAA Order 8260.3C Terminal Instrument Procedures Development, FAA Order 8260.19C Flight Procedures and Airspace, and other applicable Orders and Directives that pertain to TERPS. Duties will involve a wide range of functions:

  • Support the review, evaluation, and revision of current and new FAA instrument flight procedures.

  • Determine the effect of proposed obstructions, altered or deactivated airports, NAVAID outages, and revisions to controlled airspace as they affect instrument flight procedures.

  • Review aeronautical information released to confirm that air navigation information and technical data content is accurate and correct.

  • Initiate corrective action where discrepancies are discovered and, if necessary, accomplish amendment(s) for affected procedure(s).

  • If required, provide background information to FAA for the development of Notice to Airman (NOTAM). Coordinate as necessary with FAA Tech Ops, Flight Check, and Air Traffic personnel. Other contacts include regional and field FAA offices, National Flight Data Center, military and airline representatives, state and local aviation officials, and aircraft and airport operators.

The candidate will have demonstrated experience in any of the following:

  • Airspace and Procedures background (Instrument Flight Procedures)

  • Air Traffic Control Experience (FAA, Contractor or Military)

  • Commercial Instrument Rated Pilot (Military or Civilian)

  • Certified Instrument Flight Instructor A degree in an Aeronautics, Aviation, or Air Traffic Control career field.

  • Previous experience with FAA or DoD terminal instrument procedures (TERPS).

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, and 1+ years of experience.

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking either a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist or a Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to support procurement of spares and management of repairs for UAV Platforms and other programs/platforms are required. Full cradle to grave Procurement activity defined, but not limited to, the following: * Verifies/Validates purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to supplier database; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives. * Prepares and submits request for Proposals both in competitive and non-competitive environments. * Manages and performs Source selection down select for winning bids. * Negotiates terms & conditions, price and delivery schedules with suppliers. * Performs price analysis on proposed pricing from suppliers utilizing price analysis techniques, market research, historical pricing and price comparisons. * Responsible for award and management of suppliers from order placement to delivery & closeout. * Verifies and approves receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers. * Validates proper paperwork is received at time of delivery (Certificate of Conformance, Manufacturing Certs). * Authorizes payment for completed orders. * Maintains electronic procurement files in SAP IAW Corporate and sector policy and procedures. Basic Qualifications a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist : * Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of procurement/buyer related experience, or Master's degree and a minimum of 1 years of experience. May consider 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree (7 yrs total) * Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office to create spreadsheets, documents, presentations, etc. (i.e. Word, Excel & Powerpoint) * Government or Aerospace procurement/buying experience * Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required Basic Qualifications a Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist : * Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of procurement/buyer related experience, or Master's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience. May consider 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree (10yrs total) * Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office to create spreadsheets, documents, presentations, etc. (i.e. Word, Excel & Powerpoint) * Government or Aerospace procurement/buying experience * Obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
