The Successful Candidate Will . . .

  • Complete our award-winning paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a pest control service route

  • Install home services to include, but not limited to, attic remediation's, crawlspace encapsulations, Orkin Leaf Guard, and radiant heat barrier for energy efficiency

  • Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment

  • Communicate with customers by setting project expectations and walking them through the process to ensure satisfaction

  • Serve as a problem solver for your customer by utilizing the in-depth training provided to decide on the most efficient and best overall pest solution for each customer's needs

  • Complete all required service-related documentation and leverage your hand held device provided for speed and accuracy

JOB SUMMARY: PG 18 Cleans, inspects, and/or lubricates recyclable sorting equipment or performs routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment, such as star gears, finger sorters, de-stoners, belts, and grinders. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the MRF Lead Mechanic. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operates recycling equipment. Operates processing equipment to sort recyclable materials. Cleans, inspects, and/or lubricates recyclable sorting equipment and/or performs routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment, such as discs and belts. Sweeps and uses shovels to clean facility when needed. All other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Ability to read and write at an elementary school level, and comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions. Employees may work 8 - 12 hours daily. Overtime is required when needed. During emergency events operators are required to work 7 days a week for 10 to 12 hours per day. Employment offers to all new hires are contingent upon the job candidates successfully passing background, motor vehicle and reference checks, nicotine screening, drug screening, and post job offer physicals (that may include pulmonary testing). Offers of transfers or promotion to current ECUA employees are not subject to nicotine screening. All applicants are subject to physical assessments as required by job. Physical Requirements/Working Environment While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Climbs stairs, on catwalks, and on equipment. Working conditions are typically loud in work area while operating equipment, or machinery following all prescribed safety rules and regulations. While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently exposed to unpleasant and hazardous working conditions, such as moving mechanical parts, vibrations, high precarious places, noxious unpleasant fumes, and airborne particles.
