About the Role

Exciting opportunity to apply your skills and join a prominent freight train company as a terminal operator. Some of your key responsibilities will include the loading and unloading of trains and marshalling and preparing them for departure. You will also be responsible for processing relevant documentation in the computerised system.

About you

You will be a strong team player who thinks ahead, communicates effectively, and enjoys a challenge. This is a role that requires a responsible and accountable individual who will efficiently and safely undertake all required tasks.

To be successful, you will have:

• Full drivers' licence

• Heavy Forklift licence

• CV high risk licence

• General computer proficiency

Highly regarded/desired skills/experience include:

• Previous experience in heavy industry, logistics or transport

• Mechanical background

• Experience in train inspection, ground shunt and track side safety preferred

• Shunt driver qualifications
