Terminal Manager

TeamOne Logistics has partnered with Advance Distribution Inc and is seeking an organized and efficient Terminal Manager to join our dynamic team in Bourbonnais, IL.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Terminal Manager to oversee our logistics operations. The successful candidate will manage route drivers, warehouse employees, and route and dispatch freight. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our terminal, with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Route Drivers: Oversee daily operations of route drivers, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

• Supervise Warehouse Employees: Lead and manage warehouse staff, promoting a productive and safe working environment.

• Route and Dispatch Freight: Coordinate, route and dispatch freight to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.

• Administrative Duties: Handle various administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and maintaining records.

• Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.

• Customer Service: Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of drivers and warehouse staff, implementing improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma with 4 years of related experience in Logistics.
